Brick Headstrong is your overly enthusiastic, relentlessly positive fitness-obsessed puppet who lives for one thing: REPS. Whether it’s reps in the gym or reps in life, Coach Brick believes consistency, encouragement, and showing up (even awkwardly) are the real secrets to success.
Created as both a parody and celebration of motivational fitness influencers, Brick blends comedy, charm, and wellness education to reach kids, parents, and gym-goers alike. He’s the kind of coach who’ll yell “LET’S GET THOSE REPS!” before tripping over his resistance bands, and somehow still inspire you to show up tomorrow.
More than a mascot, Brick is on a mission:

Meet Gerard
As the creator and puppeteer behind Brick Headstrong, Gerard blends humor, motivation, and education to inspire kids, parents, and gym enthusiasts on their fitness journeys.
Gerard’s dedication to fitness education is backed by hands-on experience and ongoing learning.
He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (National Academy of Sports Medicine), equipping him with the knowledge to create engaging and informative health content. His deep understanding of digital media and storytelling, combined with his fitness expertise, ensures that Brick Headstrong’s message resonates with audiences of all ages.
Creative & Professional Background
With three years of experience in puppetry, Gerard received his puppetry certifications with Little Shadow Productions, where he had the privilege of learning from seasoned Sesame Street and Muppets performers.
Beyond puppetry, Gerard is the Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Coal Creative, a digital storytelling agency dedicated to helping brands share their unique narratives. He also co-owns IWTV (Independent Wrestling TV), where he produces live events for wrestling fans worldwide.
His expertise in media, production, and content creation has allowed him to merge his creative talents with his commitment to education and entertainment.
Additionally, Gerard is a registered artist in the Arts in Education program, now known as The Armature, further solidifying his role as an educator dedicated to blending creativity with impactful learning experiences.
